Where you can find Yellow Wood Bushcraft
Our main bases are near Hay-on-Wye with easy access to the Black Mountains and the river.  We have several sites for our bushcraft and treeclimbing activities, some in private ancient semi-natural woodland, with access land within easy reach.  So we have the best of both worlds... private, safe areas to undertake our woodcraft activities or running courses with children, but then we also have a wider area in which to undertake our expeditions.  The hills of Wales are close by.

The woodlands we use areas of coppice, ideal for bushcraft products, and also some pretty useful coniferous trees.  Species include Sweet Chestnut, Hazel, Oak, Ash, Alder, Aspen, Lime, Grand Fir, Norway Spruce, Western Red Cedar, Larch, Sycamore, Beech.

We will send you details of exactly where to meet us upon receiving your booking form.

We like to keep our locations secret for our clients, but also to avoid speculative overloading of the road system.

We will follow a similar procedure when booking you on trips that are further afield...please see the individual course lists for further information .
