Where you can find Yellow Wood Bushcraft
Our main base is near Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire, close to the foot of the Black Mountains, and right in the Wye Valley, close to the river.  Our bushcraft centre is in a private ancient semi-natural woodland, with  access land within easy reach.  So we have the best of both worlds...a private, safe area to undertake our woodcraft activities or running courses with children, but then we also have a wider area in which to undertake our expeditions.  The hills of Wales are close by.

The woodland itself has areas of coppice, ideal for bushcraft products, and also some pretty useful coniferous trees.  Species include Sweet Chestnut, Hazel, Oak, Ash, Alder, Aspen, Lime, Grand Fir, Norway Spruce, Western Red Cedar, Larch, Sycamore, Beech.

We will send you details of exactly where to meet us upon receiving your booking form.

We like to keep our location secret for our clients, but also to avoid speculative overloading of the road system, taking local concerns into account.

We will follow a similar procedure when booking you on trips that are further afield...please see the individual course lists for further information .
